Beth for Model Number atf800fs1 I was told I needed a new pump since the washer leaks but when they came to replace the pump after ordering it they then discovered the rubber boot I think he called it had holes in it so I am waiting for them to come back. The culprit was also found my the second repairman since he actually took the pump off to find the leak and somewhere in there were two underwires froms bras! Very common he told me. He told me the pump was cracked-when I looked at it it looked fine to me-then he told me something was damaged inside it-as far as I can tell without pulling it apart it looks fine. It it possible the first guy misdiagnosed the problem and the pump is fine? The machine drained perfectly-I don't have much faith in these people and don't want to pay the $125 I am being charged for a pump if I don't need one.
Answer Hello Beth. Yes, if the pump is working, then it should be fine and would only need the hose 134455900. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 16, 2012
