Jill for Model Number ATF6000ES1 Tub was not draining, pump was working so I went for this part #40 (the black drain hose connected to the pump). I cleaned out the $5 + change and gunk clogging up the basket, replaced hose to pump and right air inlet, finally the larger clamp to the outer drum. I can't seem to get the given clamp to hold this part of the hose on sufficiently. When I restart the washer, in less than 3 minutes water pours out of the top of the hose. There is very little lip on the hose and even less of a surface to wrap the hose over and follow with the clamp. Is there any tricks to making a good seal on this end of the hose? Thanks
Answer Hello Jill, The only trick I have found to this is patience and an inspection mirror. If you are able to work at it slowly and get the clamp in the correct position, it will work just fine. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 19, 2012
