Carl Fischer for Model Number fghf2369mf6 serial#4A23514419 replaced my ice maker and filter. now getting lots of water. plastic bin arm is in the up position and that's how it comes from the factory. how or when does the bin arm come down to start producing ice. you cannot force it
Answer Carl, No you cannot "force the bail arm into a position, but you do have to release the bail arm from the "locked/off" position. Just lightly press down on the bail arm until you feel it release from the internal stop, then the ice maker should start to cycle. Remember to "dump" the first few batches of ice cubes. Read More...
