Roger C November 22, 2023 for Model Number LGHB2867PF2 no water in tray, arm on ice maker stuck in the up position. we have been gone for 10 weeks and no ice was being used came home and ice maker was making weird. 1 Answer Roger, The icemaker on this unit will have the arm in the up position and only drops when it is sensing if the bin is full. You will want to go into service diagnostics and check to see if there is voltage to the valve when the icemaker is cycled. I have disengaged the semi circle bar near the back of the old ice maker. By the mounting holes, it would indicate that the entire mount pulls forward to release. But it will not move at all.
