Roger C for Model Number LGHB2867PF2 no water in tray, arm on ice maker stuck in the up position. we have been gone for 10 weeks and no ice was being used came home and ice maker was making weird. Noise used ice until ice was emptied. Now nothing temp is good fan running. the arm i believe. Tells ice maker to stop making ice when Bin is full.so with my arm up it is telling ice maker its full stop making ice until some ice is used out of bin correct.so my fix is going to be the ice maker. ?
Answer Roger, The icemaker on this unit will have the arm in the up position and only drops when it is sensing if the bin is full. You will want to go into service diagnostics and check to see if there is voltage to the valve when the icemaker is cycled.
