Don for Model Number FFGF3047LSE I wanted to remove oven igniter to check or replace. 2 screws that holds igniter keeps on rotating as threads might have been worn. Should I cut these screws? What size screws should they be?
Answer Don, You may want to try sliding a flat blade screwdriver between the igniter bracket and the burner mounting bracket, then back the screws out. If that doesn't work you may need to drill or cut the screws. Also, you may want to replace the mounting screws with a couple of WB1X1293 Igniter Mounting Screw(s), these screws will be "easier" to install and remove in the future. Read More...
