John for Model Number LFEF3054TFG My indicator light that is connected to the cook top stopped working and I ordered and replaced part 316022500 (125V). I installed the new part and the light is still not working? What other possible issues might I have?
Answer John, This would most likely be caused by a switch that is faulty. Check each switch while on for 120 Vac from the P terminal to chassis ground. If there is not power then the switch is faulty and would need to be replaced. If it is the hot surface indicator that is not working then you will want to test the elements from the 2 small terminals for continuity. If there is no continuity then this will be a faulty element.
