Richard for Model Number LGUB2642LF3 ** A wire on the sensor in the fresh food icemaker broke causing the sensor to short out **The surge was not enough to trip the breaker ** **When i switched back from ice to water the whole unit shut down**I disconnected the ice maker but now the unit will not power back up ** No display **I replaced the display control board and still no power **This unit is between 5 and 6 years old and still looks new **A local repair technician simply advised I buy a new refigerator **This refirgerator was working fine until that one incident .Any suggestions other than taking it to the local landfill **
