John for Model Number MWX445MBW0 The machine basically after any drain spin cycle, the tub just keeps spinning till it runs out of momentum. So for example after the wash spin cycle when it starts pouring water in for the rinse cycle it use to stop the tub, allowing me to open the lid and pour the fabric softener. But now the tub just keeps spinning while it’s filling for the rinse cycle which stops me from opening the lid until it completely stops spinning and unlocks the lid, which by that time it’s usually filled with its rinse water. I assume there is some sort of brake to stop it from spinning but I can’t find it anywhere on your website or online. Is there a brake pad? Or is there some other part I need to replace that will stop it from spinning between cycles?
