Richard for Model Number FEX831FS4 Would not drain so I took the pump off and had it checked out at a appliance store and it worked so I hooked it back up and drain all the water out and now the lid locks and it spins but the pump is still not kicking on?
Answer Richard, it would be recommended that the drain pump is tested for 120 Volts AC when the unit should be draining. When testing, if there is voltage when measuring from the black wire with white stripe to the metal chassis but not when testing from the wire to the second wire, the failure would either be a broken wire or a failed timer 134883600. If there is not voltage at any point and there is not a broken wire, the lid lock 134936800 has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 26, 2021
