Kirk Smith for Model Number frigidaire glass top range The large burner contains 2 elements large and small, the small element is out. Do I have to replace the complete top or can the element be replaced ?
Answer Kirk, It is possible to replace the element by itself, ant not the complete top. But, you should check the burner infinite (control) switch first. The switch has two(2)_ circuits one for the large element and one for the small element. The switch may have a faulty element circuit. that's a more likely issue than a failed burner element.
