Jefft for Model Number PLES389DCC The back end of the ceramic glass cooktop on our range is higher than the front and portion of the foam seal between the glass and the countertop is also missing . Are there mounting brackets that need tightening to bring down the back or...? Also, is there a specific type of foam seal that I can use to replace the portion that's gone missing? Thanks, Jeff T
Answer JeffT, It sounds like the back of the unit is not seated into the burner box properly and would need to pull the unit out and get it positioned properly. As for the foam tape, there is not a foam tape that would normally be on the side of the unit. You could put foam tape part number 12400041 on the sides. Read More...
