David, It sounds like the crushed/cube solenoid may be stuck and causing your issue. You will want to pull the ice bin out and check the solenoid next to the motor to make sure that it is not stuck in the up position. If it is then pull down on the solenoid arm and reinstall the ice bin. If this issue happens again or if the solenoid cannot be pulled down then the solenoid would need to be replaced. The solenoid part number is 241675704.
