Hello Glenda, Since the icemaker and water dispenser use different parts of the water valve, the problem could be the valve 242252702. You do need to dis-connect the water valve at the bottom of the door. If a tablespoon of water or so runs out, the water line in the door is not frozen. If no water runs out, the water line in the door is frozen and the door normally has to be replaced unless the freezer temperature is just set too cold. If it is not frozen, blow a hair dryer on the water reservoir in the bottom of the fresh food compartment for about 15 minutes. If this clears the issue, set the fresh food compartment COLDER to increase air circulation. This will prevent the cold air from migrating to the bottom of the unit and freezing the water reservoir.
