Jim for Model Number FGFL79DQG Over the years I have replaced my clock / timer board 3 times. Did some trouble shooting and disconnected and taped up the igniter wires and pulled them through the back of the stove and separated them as to not come in contact with each other. (Yes I unplugged the stove first!) I then plugged in the stove, and rotated one knob to light. I can hear a snapping noise like it is trying to light, and it sounds like it is coming from the spark module. Can this module have a short on the inside of the module causing my clock / timer board to fry? Thanks for your help. Spark module # AP4374595. Clock / timer # AP4512575. Thanks for your help. Jim
Answer Hello Jim. Look for a bad wire sparking. If none is found, hen replace the module on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 5, 2016
