Walte L for Model Number lgq2152ee0 I replaced felt drum seals, drum glides,but when i try to start it the motor hummed and would not start rotating, smoke started coming out and smelled like burning rubber what did i do wrong?
Answer Walter, a couple of things to check, Make sure the new drum seals are not twisted or bunched up, causing the drum to jam and not move freely, Make sure the felt seal on the back of the front panel is not damaged and the drum glides did not get dislodged when you reinstalled the front panel, and check and make sure you have the drive belt properly routed and centerred on the motor and idler pulleys. It's a remote possibility, but check and make sure nothing fell or got into the blower assembly and jammed the blower wheel.Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
