Scotty for Model Number FeF352ASG Oven threw house breaker. Stopped working bake and broil. Stovetop Elements, clock, timer work. Can turn on bake or broil, reads fine but no heat through elements. Checked bake broil elements for damage, good. Checked continuity on bake and broil with volt meter. Good. Checked outlet for 220, good. Looks like glass case on oven light slipped off while baking. Very small fire at entry melted the light socket and one wire connector on socket. Looked at diagram, wire goes to oven door switch. Would fried socket and wire break circuit causing the door to read as open? Or in anyway stop oven from working? To broke to get unnecessary parts, new oven, or repair service. If not the problem, ideas, suggestions? Need to fix!!! Thank you for your time.
Answer Scotty, If the oven light socket wire touched then this could cause the door open signal but also could have damaged the control board on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 15, 2018
