Gary for Model Number FGEF3036TF Wanting to replace the bottom panel of my oven, I ordered your part # 316505601. I received it but now am unable to remove the old panel. I removed the two screws at the back, lifted the back of the panel up, but am unable to push the panel back to get the front edge from under the lip. I can wiggle it but it will not move. It feels like something is holding it in place under the lip. Any ideas? Thanks, Gary
Answer Gary, You're following the procedure properly. Make sure you're not raising the back of the oven bottom panel too high. It may be getting caught between the bottom of the oven panel and the lip of the element burner base pan. Occasionally the burner base pan can get distorted, and hold the oven bottom panel, you may need to carefully shift the panel side to side and carefully push the panel back. You may want to wear some work gloves, and be very careful, you don't want to chip the front edge or the back wall of the oven cavity. Read More...
