Leroy December 26, 2020 for Model Number 79094193310 kenmore when preheating the oven it tells you its ready but the temp is 100 degrees short also when you set the temp it some times does not hold the temp at where you set it.
1 Answer Leroy, it would be recommended that the oven sensor 316490000 is tested for resistance. At room temperature, the resistance should be around 1100O. It can then be held tight in the hand and the sensor should start rising about 2O for every degree that it increases. If the sensor tests good, then the failure would be in the main control 316630003. Read More...
Janet July 21, 2018 for Model Number Fgef3032fh How do I remove the bolts on the bottom panel? They look like hex bolts, but nothing I have fits
1 Answer Janet, These screws that hold in the lower oven panel should be rounded and are considered finger screws but should have a slot for a flat blade screwdriver to go in to allow them to be removed. Read More...

1 Answer Nick, At the back of the bottom panel there will be 2 screws that you will remove. Once you remove these screws you will lift the panel from the back and get it at an angle, slide the front from under the lip and take the panel out. Read More...
Gary February 04, 2018 for Model Number FGEF3036TF I received the bottom panel for my Frigidaire range, part 316505601, that you suggested but it is not the same as the panel I took out. Your panel has a recessed area maybe 1-2 inches deep whereas the panel I took out can't be more than 1/4 inch. As a result, your panel hits the heating element below it and will not go in. What do I need to do to get the correct panel for my model? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Gary, I'm sorry but 316400601 is the correct bottom panel for the model provided. You will need to contact us at 1-877-477-7278 with the model and serial number for your unit and the order number so our representative can assist you in returning the part you ordered and ordering the one needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Gary January 28, 2018 for Model Number FGEF3036TF Wanting to replace the bottom panel of my oven, I ordered your part # 316505601. I received it but now am unable to remove the old panel. I removed the two screws at the back, lifted the back of the panel up, but am unable to push the panel back to get the front edge from under the lip. I can wiggle it but it will not move. It feels like something is holding it in place under the lip. Any ideas? Thanks, Gary
1 Answer Gary, You're following the procedure properly. Make sure you're not raising the back of the oven bottom panel too high. It may be getting caught between the bottom of the oven panel and the lip of the element burner base pan. Occasionally the burner base pan can get distorted, and hold the oven bottom panel, you may need to carefully shift the panel side to side and carefully push the panel back. You may want to wear some work gloves, and be very careful, you don't want to chip the front edge or the back wall of the oven cavity. Read More...

Gary January 10, 2018 for Model Number FGEF3036TF I want to replace the bottom panel of my oven - burned on aluminum foil, and my search identified part # 316505601. Is this correct? It also says that people who ordered the panel also ordered screws and a bracket, part # 316506000. I can see maybe needing the screws but do I need any of the brackets? Thanks
