Miff for Model Number PLGF389CCC I've been getting F3 and F1 error messages on my stove, started off as just an F3 every now and then, now I have one or other coming on every time I try to use the oven (and sometimes just for no reason at all). We tested the resistance on the temperature probe and that is okay. Is it still worth replacing this to see if it solves the problem or do we have to replace the full electronic panel? Thanks
Answer Miff, The F1 error code is an indication of a runaway temperature. This would require checking the oven sensor which should be 1090 ohms at room temp and if this checks ok then replace the oven control. The F3 is an open or shorted probe connections. Check the sensor harness and if the harness checks ok then replace the control. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 16, 2013
