Kimberly L. for Model Number GLGQ642AS4 The Start switch broke off along with the knob on my dryer. I still have the knob however part of the male end of the switch is still in the nob and is stuck in there pretty good. Which part(s) do I need to buy? If I can re-use the knob, any tricks as to how to get the switch piece out?
Answer Hello Kimberly. It sounds like you will need to order the start switch 134398300 and the knob 134042800. These are not hard to replace. You can try removing the broke shaft out of the old knob with needle nose pliers. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 1, 2011
