Ben for Model Number FRT-14TAL-0 This is a followup to a question I asked yesterday. I installed the part but am still having the problem. The compressor has readings of 13, 11, and 3 ohms. I'm wondering if the overload might be bad? The overload gives a reading of 1 ohm. It uses freon-12 so I don't think I'd want to try to replace the compressor if it's bad. (This was the question I asked yesterday: How do you wire this part. there's a black wire coming from the overload that I assume goes on to the new relay. I'm not sure which 2 pins on the compressor that the new relay goes onto or where the white wire attaches. Ben for Model Number FRT-14TAL-0 ANSWER Hello Ben. The compressor should have 3 post. The overload will go on the single post and the relay goes onto the double post. Back wire to the overload and white wire to number 2 of the relay. Thanks. Answer Hello Ben. No, if the problem is still there then the compressor is bad on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, September 19, 2014
