Marsha for Model Number LGUS2642LE0 The freezer temperature keeps rising from 1 to upwards of 17 and the ice maker is slow to make ice cubes. We bought pop sicles over a week ago and some are still not frozen. Could we need a new starter or what can we do to trouble shoot? Thank you in advance for any help.
Answer Hello Marsha, when the freezer temperature is climbing check if the compressor is running or not, if not then replace the starter 241941003, if the compressor is running the evap fan should be running also in the freezer, next check if the evap coils are overly frosted as if a no defrost, otherwise, this may be the beginning of a sealed system problem.
