Kim for Model Number RB131CW-1 I need to order a surface unit switch kit. Is this something I can install myself or will I need to have an appliance repairman take care of it? I don't know how to get underneath to replace it...the plate holding the knobs doesn't lift up.
Answer Hi. The breakdown shows 2-screws holding down the switch plate cover. The infinite switch part # 5303935086 has a "P" terminal for the Pilot wire that lights a surface light to let you know the top is unsafe to touch. It also has a "L-1" > "H-1" & "L-2" > "H-2" terminals. Make sure you transfer the original wires to the new switch. Use a magnifying glass to see the old switch terminals if needed. There is a wiring diagram under the unit folded in a packet. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 19, 2012
