Kat for Model Number FES367CEBD Hi! I have a Frigidaire Smooth Top Range with connecting oven. The other day a metal ring fell to the floor and the light on the inside is remaining on even with the door closed. We thought I needed to replace the #12 switch since the switch is now inside of the unit itself. Can you give any insights into how to replace it? I have read online to remove the control panel and I have read to remove the side. Please help if you can. Thanks!
Answer Kat, With this unit being a slide in range it will be necessary to remove the control panel of the unit in order to change the light switch. This will require removing the endcaps of the panel and lift the panel off. You will also need to remove the burner box from the unit to be able to get to the switch.
