Daniel B. for Model Number DE5800WW1 How do you check the thermal limiter & thermal fuse with a ohm meter? My dryer wont start & the red (hot) wire had burnt off the terminal block. Thank you
Answer Hello Daniel. You will need to check for continuity. They should read closed. If they are good, you could have had a bad crimp on the wire at the terminal block. You will need to repair the wire at the terminal block. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
