Bobby for Model Number frigidaire gallery series m#gleq942cs0 My son said dryer won't work, runs but won't get hot . I said reset the breaker dryer started working. We just had a thunderstorm, breaker is working, dryer runs but no heat. Do I just install a thermal device same as a fuse or could it be something else ?
Answer Bobby, The thermal device/fuse is in the motor circuit. If it were at fault the motor wouldn't start or run, so that's not it. If you're sure you have 220 VAC to the dryer then you will need to check the control board 134208151 for a faulty heater relay, check for a broken heater element 131553900 or wire to the element assembly, or thermostat 3204267.
