Ernie for Model Number 41799370120 The temperature limiter (thermal fuse) recently went out on my washer/dryer combo. While I was in there replacing it, I replaced the bearing on the back of the tumbler and gave it a thorough cleaning. There was lint packed in in many places. After I gave it the tune-up, the thermal limiter had gone out again (I’m pretty sure that’s the problem, it’s behaving the same way again). It’s only been a couple of months. Anyone know why this may be recurring?
Answer Hello Ernie, The thermal fuse is opened thermally, (excessive heat). You will need to check the exhaust ducting from the back of the dryer to the outside of your home for restrictions. Anything that will slow down air flow will contribute to this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, October 13, 2018
