Mike B for Model Number LEQ7000EGO Had a power failure, and when power was restored the dryer would not run. Checked the breaker and confirmed there was 220V at the plug. I'm thinking it is the Thermal limiter (under problem of "Dryer not working" in manual). Could a power failure cause the limiter to blow?
Answer Hello Mike. Yes, you will need to test the thermal limiter 134120900. It should read closed for continuity. If it took a surge, it will blow. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
