Steve Mcgarrett for Model Number model 253.22742410 one day I opened my upright freezer and items were thawed out. I turned off the freezer and turned it back on and it worked temporarily. I replaced the temp cold control FR 5304513033 and it still is not working . what can it be?
Answer Hello Steve. Next time when the unit wont run at all (except of the light) get to the back and locate the defrost timer bottom left p/n AP6799886. I want you to slowly turn the knob in the center (use a screwdriver) CW until you'll hear the click and another one, if you keep turning. If the unit kicks on, replace the timer. Thank you.
