John for Model Number GLD4355RFS2 Like so many others here, the end of my center spray arm (rubber part) disintegrated and fell off, and the delivery tube grommet on the back wall was also decaying a bit. I've bought the replacement rack assembly and the grommet. Before I pull out the machine to get to work... - do I need to replace the delivery (manifold) tube as well to fit the new grommet, or will the original tube still work? (wasn't clear from other questions) - *how* is the grommet replaced? Looks like it willl screw onto the tube (so machine must be pulled fully out to access the back?). Does it 'snug' against the back wall automagically, or is there anything that must be applied? Thanks very much for providing this forum :-) John
Answer Hello John. As long as the old manifold is not broke, the new grommet will fit it. There is no need to pull out the dishwasher. Just remove the upper rack. The grommet is a slip in installation. There are no screws. These are easy to replace. If you get the grommet close to seated and give it a slight twist, it will normally pop in. You can use a small amount of liquid soap to help this install. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 8, 2016
