Joanna R for Model Number JBP21WH1WW We recently bought a condo and the stove is a GE. The surface elements do not fit the burner bowls properly so the pots and pans sit at an angle. We just ordered two 8" Large Surface Elements from your website but they are fitting exactly the same as the old ones. The burner bowls are also 8". What do you think the problem could be? The 6" elements are slightly better but not perfect.
Answer Joanna, In a lot of cases the element may not fit the exact same on the original part that it did when new. You will want to make sure that the element is in place all the way and that the little prongs on the element meet the slots of the burner bowl. Read More...
