Ben for Model Number WHDSR109J5WW Our top loading GE washing machine is making a metallic grinding noise during agitation. We took the front off and figured out that it's because one of the tub's "feet" has, I think, made a hole in the bottom of the machine (the bottom piece of metal), and the other "foot" is now rubbing against the metal whenever the machine agitates. Is this an "unbalanced washer" problem? Any ideas on how to fix it would be GREATLY appreciated!
Answer Hello Ben, If the leveling foot has made a hole in the base of the unit then you would have to replace the base. Check your suspension rods to make sure that they are in place properly and make sure that they are not damaged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 11, 2013
