Susan, Yes there is a "cover over it". The Pantry Drawer Door part no. is W10827015 / W10827015 for the model number you supploed, as long as the "side parts" are mounted to the side walls, aren't cracked or dented, dinged they are OK. There should be a "lever or knob on the right side, it controls the air damper in the back of the bin, make sure it moves and you may hear the damper door in back move. The pantry door has two pivot tabs, one on each side, you need to be careful when you insert the tabs into the mounting hole in the side bracket, you don't want to snap off the tab(s) there is a protrusion on the left side of the bin upper edge that will raise and lower the drawer door as you open and close it.
