Paul This burner does not want to light for me. The hot surface ignitor turns on but the burner does not light. I tried using a lighter to light it but it does not work, like there is no gas going to the burner. What could be the problem?
Answer Paul, We would need the model number to properly assist with your question. In general if a gas range the igniter turns on but does not light and the burner will not light with a match then you will want to pull the orifice and check for it being clogged. If the orifice is good then most likely the issue would be with the burner valve if all the other burners are working except the one. Read More...
