William December 09, 2019 for Model Number ZG287938P The oven makes airborne soot after it has been lit for a while as well an unusual odor that persists for as long as the oven is used, not only at startup. Does anyone know what the problem might be and should I consider replacing the oven burner, the previous user of this oven burned something badly in the oven and I am afraid to use it for long baking periods? Any suggestions, maybe replace some of the parts that might have been affected when that person burnt whatever he/she was baking? Thank you, Bill
1 Answer William, the burners can be cleaned and the flames would need to be checked to see if they are yellow or blue. If they are fully blue, then it is soot residue being seen. If they are yellow, then it would need to be verified if the range is converted properly to natural gas or LP, whichever the gas supply may be. Read More...

Paul September 22, 2013 This burner does not want to light for me. The hot surface ignitor turns on but the burner does not light. I tried using a lighter to light it but it does not work, like there is no gas going to the burner. What could be the problem?
1 Answer Paul, We would need the model number to properly assist with your question. In general if a gas range the igniter turns on but does not light and the burner will not light with a match then you will want to pull the orifice and check for it being clogged. If the orifice is good then most likely the issue would be with the burner valve if all the other burners are working except the one. Read More...
G. Lesk March 12, 2011 for Model Number 362.75501990 I need step by step directions to repair & replace bake burner and bake ignitor p/n AP3205796.
1 Answer Hello. You will need to remove the bottom of the oven. Then remove the flame spreader and gain access to the burner. Remove the screws holding the ignitor in place on the burner, and remove the ignitor. Next remove the screws holding the burner in place. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
