Jlemere for Model Number dbvh512efoww

Hello, Dryer stops in mid cycle, sometimes it makes it to the drying damp stage, but usually it shuts off sooner. It will stop for a min or so and restart it self going into a continuous loop of on a min off a min. There is no error code and only the cycle stops, main power is still on. Blower motor is working, lint trap deep cleaned. To clarify, it will run for a fair amount of time before the first trip, after that it's on and off and repeat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I believe the motor is overheating but unsure why it restarts.

Answer

Jlemere, The most common reason for the unit cycling on and off would be that the unit has a wrinkle guard setting that is initiated at the end of a cycle that is causing the unit to bypass the shutoff and run for one minute and off for 1 minute. As far as not getting completely done would be more of an issue with the moisture sensor on the unit.
