Ed for Model Number PGSS5PJXA SS Hello, I have this Refrigerator GE profile with 2 draw freezer at the bottom, the temperature are getting up everyday and I disconnect power outlet for a few moments, reconnect turn cooling system on back on and within 24 hours it comes back to normal, however right after the temperature reaches its goal it goes back to increase again. Any ideas please, I have lost too much food where I had to through out. Thank you so much.
Answer Ed, You will want to check the thermistors on the unit to ensure that the resistance is within range. The resistance values should be 42.2K @ 0 degrees, 14.4K at 37 degrees and 5K ohms at 77 degrees. If not within range then the sensor would need to be replaced.
