Michele for Model Number FRT40D, refrigerator hello, I have a frigidaire refrigerator abour 10 yrs old. I live in Panama and am unable to purchase parts for this refrigerator. the refrigerator side is not working. the food spoil. I was told that i will need to replace the electronic card because the timer is electronic. pleas inform if i will need to buy a new card or if a new defrost timer will be sufficient, which According to your catalogue would be AP2111929.

If you are having a defrost issue then you will want to test the defrost heater and thermostat. This can be done by testing for continuity.
