Answer Daniel, The first check should be at the defrost bi metal (thermostat) WR50X10047 If it is "sticky" or has become dislodged from the evaporator, due to excess ice, etc. the heater will remain on longer than designed and cause excessive heat and melting in the freezer compartment.
