Appliancewoes for Model Number GSS25TSTBSS I have a GE refrigerator model # GSS25TSTBSS. The refrigerator intermittently stops working. The temperature will start to rise in the freezer and refrigerator usually to a temperature where food needs to be removed and put into a cooler and the ice in the freezer is melting. Sometimes the refrigerator stops working for a few hours and sometimes it stops working for an entire day. However, it will eventually start cooling again. When the refrigerator is not cooling the temperature rise can be seen on the outside temperature panel near the water dispenser. The water dispenser also will not dispense water or ice when the refrigerator is not cooling properly. Once the refrigerator starts cooling again the dispenser will function properly. Could this be a bad motherboard or a compressor relay issue? Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello ApplianceWoes. The main control board WR55X10942C is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 24, 2013
