Harry for Model Number PSS26MSWA SS The water dispenser on my GE side-by-side (Model # PSS26MSWA SS) is not working (makes a "brrrrrrr....." kind of noise and only spurts out a few drops). I have replaced the water filter and the water valve. Water supply pressure is good. Disconnected supply tube before it enters freezer door and there was no flow there either. Ice maker and all other functions operate normally. I think the relay on the control board is bad and the board needs to be replaced. Do you agree or am I overlooking something?
Answer Harry, You will want to check the voltage to the water valve when the dispenser is pressed to make sure that you are getting a constant 120 vac.
