Peter S. for Model Number GSS25UFMB BB Both sides of refrigerator are not cooling. I have turned off temperature control and turned both back on and it still does not cool. I do not hear a clicking sound like the compressor trying to start. Does this sound like the compressor has failed or could it be the main control board? Would the best solution be to buy a new refrigerator?
Answer Hello Peter. Test for power from the main board to the compressor. If you do not have power there, you will need to order and replace the main control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
