Gary for Model Number GBS22HBRBCC I replaced the mother board on refrigerator. In replacement instructions it said if I have a bottom freezer that has power cable plastic housing that covers capacitor board . Locate black,green and white wires between the connector and plastic housing of the capacitor board and cut the green wire between connector and plastic housing of capacitor board. Don't know what they are talking about. Please explain. Thanks
Answer Gary, You will need to remove the compressor cover. On the left side looking at the back of the unit. Locate the power cord. The power cored goes into a connector, disconnect the connector. If there is a capacitor board in the plastic housing attached to the power cord then you will cut the green wire between the plastic and the connector.
