Claude H. for Model Number GSS25WSTISS The GE side by side is working fine except the control panel does not work at all . ice maker is working fine but will not dispense ice. temperature control and all other controls will not work. all lights on the control panel are out also. Tried rebooting the Refrigerator but no luck. Problem the mother board? or fuse ?
Answer Claude, first off there's no fuse in the dispenser or control circuits. Your first check should be at the freezer door hinge. Check and make sure the wiring harness at the hinge isn't damaged, doesn't have any loose connections, or discoloration inside the connector. If all's OK, then replace the "mother board" WR55X10942C.
