Mike for Model Number PSC 23MSW Freezer temp fluctuates between 0 and minus 9 while the refrigerator runs at normal 37 degrees. I replaced the main control board, defrost thermostat and the temp sensor next to the defrost thermostat. I'm at a loss, what can I do to regulate the freezer at the recommended 0 setting? Answer Mike, There is another temperature sensor in your freezer compartment that might be faulty. The sensor that you replaced was for the defrost which would not have anything to do with temp dropping to -9. The resistance for your sensor at 0 degrees should be 42.2K ohms of resistance.
