Marty J. for Model Number LSS25XSTA SS I have a GE refrigerator that has an ice maker that started dispensing ice and would not stop. I had to turn the ice maker off and take out the holding tray and dispensing unit. I have been told that this is a main board issue. Is there any way to tell before I purchase a main board? Answer Hello Marty, You can check for 120Vac at terminal J11 on the board, (brown wire connects here). If the voltage is there, make sure the voltage is to the icemaker jack in the freezer compartment. If there, replace the icemaker WR30X10093. If not at the board terminal, replace the board WR55X10942C. If at the board but not at the jack in the freezer, there is a harness issue. Read More...
