Abe for Model Number ESH25XGPABB I needed to replace my main board but the instructions that came with the new main board said I needed to cut wires. Do I have to do this with my refrigerator? After I install the board how long should it take for the fans and compressor to turn on.
Answer Hello Abe, If you look at the4 instruction sheet just below the paragraph that behind "STEP 2", it stated the models that will require wiring modifications. In the box it states: NOTE: This step is ONLY applicable for the following models: All bottom mount freezers and Encoder models with specific serial number prefixes. Since this unit has a start device on the compressor and has no encoder, (compressor board), you will need to perform NO modifications. Read More...
