Robert Henderson for Model Number PSC23SHRBSS Hello, I have a GE Side by Side with the ice and water on the door. The dispenser on the door stopped working no water or ice. The Ice maker is working fine. I have checked the wire harness at the bottom of the firge on the left hand side that looks good. I changed out the front panel with on from my neighbor and that works fine. Is the only thing left the main control board. Part number AP4436216?
Answer Hello Robert. Test for power to the auger motor. If there, it is bad. If not there, and the micro-switch in the dispenser is good, then you will need to replace the main board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
