Answer Megan, You're probably on target, the main control board WR55X10942C is the more likely problem. to be sure, you could lower the control panel in the refrigerator, disconnect the J1 wire harness, with a multi meter check for 13 VDC across the J1-1 black and the J1-2 red wires in the connector if you have the voltage, the main board is OK and you'll need the customer display board, if no voltage, you have a bad main control board or loose/broken wire.
